Double cantilever design: The vertical main pole extends to the left and right with two horizontal arms, each corresponding to one direction of traffic at the intersection.
Arm length is customized based on road width, typically ranging from 6 meters to 14 meters.
Reinforced plates are added at the junction of the pole and arms to ensure structural stability under long-term load.
Cable channels are reserved inside the pole for signal cables running from the control box through the pole to the signal light group at the arm’s end.
Surface Treatment
The pole body and arms are treated with hot-dip galvanization to enhance corrosion resistance.
The external surface is coated with electrostatic powder coating for additional protection and to maintain a uniform appearance, typically in traffic gray or black.
Size Specifications
Main pole height: 6 meters, 7 meters, or 8 meters, depending on the intersection visibility requirements.
Arm length: Left and right arms are customized based on the width of the corresponding lanes, typically ranging from 6 meters to 14 meters.
Wall thickness: Main pole wall thickness is 5mm to 8mm, and arm wall thickness is 4mm to 6mm.
Flange specifications: Determined based on the main pole height and total arm length, with matching ground cage bolts.
Installation Configuration
Ground cage reinforcement: Ground cage bolts range from M24 to M36 based on pole height and arm load.
Flange base design, suitable for concrete foundation installation.
Intersection control boxes can be mounted at the base of the pole or set up independently nearby.
